Effective November 1, 2005 AppCompTech moved its corporate office to the new Windber Research Institute (WRI) building located at 620 7 th Street in Windber, PA. AppCompTech made this move to take advantage of an opportunity to collaborate with WRI's many talented scientists and researchers in the fight against cancer. This move makes great sense because AppCompTech and WRI have a shared vision of developing innovative new technologies for combating cancer.

In addition to collaboration, AppCompTech will receive a state tax waiver along with other taxation and business benefits from the new location because the WRI building is a designated Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) and Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ).
